 In addition to information about academic programs and admissions requirements, the website of the sub-department History of Hermetic Philosophy and Related Currents at the University of Amsterdam has a section entitled “Links & Sources” which Chair Wouter Hanegraaff explains “is intended as an interactive tool for keeping people informed about new publications. INSCRIPTIONS IN THE SAND, an Arts and Culture conference and festival

Eastern Mediterranean University

During June 4th - 6th, 2003 as part of its well-established series of regional and international academic symposiums and colloquiums, the Department of English Literature and Humanities at Eastern Mediterranean University hosted INSCRIPTIONS IN THE SAND, an Arts and Culture conference and festival.

INSCRIPTIONS IN THE SAND embraced music, film, literature, dramatic and performance art, performance events, exhibitions and creative presentations, as well as critical analyses and interpretations of literary, philosophical, and other kinds of texts. The intent was to provide an academic environment and atmosphere charged with the energy of creative experience.

 The annual Journal for the Academic Study of Magic, a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed annual print publication, is seeking submissions. Scholarly articles in English of up to 8000 words, book reviews and the like are welcomed. We aim to cover all areas of magic, witchcraft, paganism etc; all geographical regions and all historical periods.
