RENOS K. PAPADOPOULOS, Ph.D., is Professor of Analytical Psychology at the Centre for Psychoanalytic Studies of the University of Essex; Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Systemic Family Psychotherapist at the Tavistock Clinic, and Training and Supervising Jungian Psychoanalyst practising in London. He is the editor of 'Harvest; Journal for Jungian Studies', and Chairman of the Academic Standing Subcommittee of the International Association for Analytical Psychology. As consultant to the United Nations and other organisations (e.g. the Council of Europe, the Australian Aboriginal Council, the Ragiv Gandhi Foundation, the International Organisation for Migration, and the British Council), he has worked with survivors of violence and disaster in several countries.
